My Illinois Bucket List

My Illinois Bucket List Hey everyone! I cannot believe that it is mid-October. On one hand, with my endless array  of tests, projects, and essays, I feel as if the semester is crawling  by at a snails pace. On the other hand, with the constant changes and fast-pace of campus, I feel as if Ive only been here  for a blink of an eye. College is like that, really. Life consists of all-nighters mixed with lazy days on the quad, and time seems to exist outside of campus. Sometimes I wake up and I cannot believe that Im a sophomoreâ€"I still want to be a senior in high school excitedly looking forward to her first year of college. In between all of lifes craziness, I realized that, although Ive been at Illinois for over a year, I have not accomplished nearly everything I want to. So, I thought I would compile a list of ten things  I want to do before graduating. Here goes! Climb Altgelds bell tower. Eat at Merry Anns Diner. Visit the Rare Book and Manuscript Library. Have a snowball fight on the Quad. Take a fun and weird fitness  class at the ARC. Visit Kickapoo State Park. Visit the Krannert Art Museum. Attend a Japanese Tea Ceremony at the Japan House. Go to the Urbana Sweet Corn Festival. Watch an outdoor movie on the Quad. Theres about a hundred other things I want to do here before graduation, but I think thats a pretty good list to start from. Let me know if you guys have anything you just  have  to do before leaving Illinois! Emma Class of 2018 I’m majoring in English in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences with a minor in Secondary Education. I’m from the northern suburbs of Chicago. I adore Shakespeare and Dickens and all things nerdy, but I also have a soft spot for Netflix, popcorn, and fuzzy blankets.
